The Bayshore Rear End. The Corvair rear end pictured above is of the infamous 'white' car, built by Jim Dodd and later owned by Bill Doerge. The rear section was restored by Roy Buckridge.

Bill, placing any editorial comments here. Roy

(The following section below was moved from the Newsletter Home Page, I simply posted it here in case you missed this from the first time I sent out the email notice to see the updated look.)

Assuming there is NO urgent news for the club members, this would then be the first thing the members would see if we "comment out" the Late Breaking News Section.

I'm still working out the navigation menu above, so on some of the pages it does not reflect what is displayed here on this page. Once all the navigation is OK, it will be a simple matter of copy & paste, so all the navigation will look exactly the same for each page. Simple quick & dirty, but it works.

So, TO ALL, what should be the text to appear here in a normal everyday version???????

It could be the minutes to the last meeting. If that were the case, I would like the minutes sent in a simple text file as Notepad, or MSWord as Charlie has done for all updates on his site. Ask Charlie, it works well.

In updating the Calendar of Events Page, you may notice the lack of Corvair type events. This is because I have almost no info on these and have populated the field with events that interest me and I hope you. The final choice belongs to you the members and ultimately the Editor as to what events you wish to display in the Calendar Page.

Also, for anyone writting a column, please inclose a jpg or gif file of your name to be placed at the end of the article. If you look at Charlie's, Life in the Fast lane, I have taken the liberty to use the same sig file graphic he uses on his web site, www.yenkostinger.com as it adds the personal touch.
OK, you don't have to look, I just signed this piece below.

Or if you want to sign your work a little fancier, here I added a graphic with the hand written sig file. I used the little cartoon mouse, but we could add a photo of you, your car, etc. What ever you choose, it should be best displayed on a white background, or the same color background as the page it is placed on. This way the images blends into the page and doesn't appear as if it had a colored box around it. Your own imagination is your limitation.
