In the following sections, we hope to answer all your questions about our Bayshore at Pocono event. Here are some links that will answer your questions.
- About The Event - This is a fun event. An opportunity to drive your car at speed under the safest possible conditions.
- Event Schedule - The event schedule starts at 7:00 AM. See a complete listing of the days schedule. The times that your group will be on the track and the time you will work a corner station. Working the corner stations gets you a front row seat for close up viewing of the other drivers styles and driving lines.
- Rules & Regulations - This is the dos and don'ts of the event. Some things are common sense and others that may not be so obvious. A complete description of the drivers responsiblity and an explanation of the flags and signals that will be used during the day.
- Directions to The Track - While Pocono can be simply described as being located in Long Pond, Pa. Here is a little more detailed information as to how to get there from here.
- Accommodations - While it is not a necessity to stay over night, many drivers choose to arrive the night before the event. This way they are completely rested and ready to "hit the track" at 7:00 AM. Listed are some of the areas affordable rooms and the phone numbers you will need.
- FAQ Section - While some drivers are very familar with this type of event, this section should answer most if not all of your questions. What are the "rules of the road?" What should I bring with me? How do I prepare?
- I Still Need More Help - If you still have some unanswered questions, here is a listing of people you may contact, either by phone or email.
- A Salute To The Event Workers - One of the functions that gets over looked in an event like this is the amount of preparation work that takes place. All year long the Bayshore Pocono Group has been holding monthly meetings to ensure a smooth operation come track day.
